Project description

The video shows an image of a “no signal” sign with a counting down clock at the bottom. The only existing light is the light coming from the sign in which gradually starts to appear human’s face features. As long as the counter is going backwards the face is seen more clearly. Finally you recognize a woman’s face, which is moving slowly hardly expressing anything. Slowly the music starts to change and increase the pressure. The head starts to move quicker while the time is running out. Just before the counting down is over the woman puts her hand in front of her eyes and than slowly shifts it to her mouth. She stays in this position until the last few seconds of the counter go by.
The concept places man in a situation where he has lost his human connections to the real and pure life. Where the only way he presence is by his physical body.
The video will be projected in a kind of wall (3/4m.)made by hundreds of white wires and cables.
